VENEERED WOOD

Wood veneer – Less is more!

Usually crafted out of indigenous Quebec wood species, wood veneer results from a specific type of cut: the log rotates against a long and sharp blade. As the log turns, a thin wood sheet is “peeled” off the log. Then the real wood sheet is glued onto a more or less rigid backing depending on the final use.

This new technological approach is sure to please environment and forest lovers: the look is authentic and natural while reducing to a minimum the use of precious wood resources. Since fewer raw materials are needed to make veneer, it naturally affects the final cost, which will be less than for solid wood.

Evolution HD, Reconstitued Wood Veneer Collection – Reduce your environmental footprint!

Produced from Sustainable Forestry Practices, HD reconstituted wood veneers are engineered out of fast growing Africans tree species, making this collection is an eco-friendly one. "HD" stands for the extreme precision of the wood grain as well as the color uniformity you can expect. "Evolution" implies that structural additions can be made to a project, even several months after completion with the assurance that color matching will not be a problem, an aspect that can be tricky with any other material. Moreover, the wonderful flexibility of this product opens up endless possibilities when it comes to dressing up round volumes and soft curves!

Made of real wood, sliced according to different techniques to create a specific visual pattern, reconstituted wood veneered sheets are then laminated on either paper or wood backings.

Let gracefulness flow your way with smooth curves luxuriously dressed up!
